"Lighting The Way"
Commissioned in memorial of a loved one who has gone ahead to light the way for those that follow.

Out of concern for my younger/more prudish viewers on facebook, these lovely ladies will be featured only here on my blog.
Recently I received a commission for a set of hand painted wine glasses that feature mermaids. Not so unusual, but the client also specified that these mermaids should be uninhibited...and curvy. :-) It is so liberating to work on a project in which the unfettered female form is celebrated, rather than denigrated as "dirty". These beauties were a delight to bring to life. I hope they bring joy to their new home. Enjoy, JH!
